Job Description
- We are seeking a Digital Media Intern to join our dynamic team
- In this role, you’ll play a key part in producing, editing, and managing high-quality video content, including news coverage, reaction videos, and live-streamed events that keep our audience connected with the latest happenings
- This is a unique opportunity to contribute creatively to a growing brand that celebrates Nigerian culture and entertainment
Responsibilities :
- Hosting and On-Camera Presence:
- Serve as an on-air talent for our original video content, ensuring an engaging and captivating presence during shows, interviews, and live events.
- Conduct interviews with a range of guests, from celebrities to industry experts, facilitating dynamic and informative conversations.
- Lead live broadcasts on platforms such as Instagram Live, Facebook Live, and YouTube, interacting with viewers in real-time to enhance audience engagement.
- Content Production:
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop and conceptualise original content ideas, overseeing the entire production process from initial concept to final edit.
- Script and storyboard episodes, working closely with writers, directors, and editors to ensure each production aligns with Gusto Entertainment’s brand voice and objectives.
- Coordinate with the production crew to ensure that the creative vision is executed effectively and that all content meets the highest quality standards.
- Audience Engagement:
- Play an active role in social media strategy, working with the social media team to integrate content across platforms and drive audience engagement.
- Create promotional materials and behind-the-scenes content that resonate with our audience, building stronger connections with viewers.
- Analyse audience feedback and engagement metrics, using this data to refine content and improve future productions.
- Brand Representation:
- Act as an ambassador for Gusto Entertainment & Media at events, conferences, and public appearances, representing the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Maintain a consistent and positive image both on and off-camera, embodying the values of Gusto Entertainment in all interactions.
- Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing, PR, and social media teams to align content strategies with broader promotional efforts, ensuring cohesive branding across all platforms.
- Work closely with the team to develop and integrate sponsored content, creating opportunities for brand partnerships within our programming.
- Creative Development:
- Stay updated on industry trends, pop culture, and audience preferences, continuously bringing fresh and relevant ideas to our content offerings.
- Pitch new show ideas and segment concepts, contributing to the expansion and evolution of Gusto Entertainment’s content portfolio.
