- A budding Nigerian online newspaper requires the service of a resourceful, experienced, and self-driven Freelance Journalist.
Responsibilities :
- Pitch and develop original story ideas on local news, culture, politics, human-interest topics, etc.
- Conduct interviews and field research as needed
- Write and submit well-structured articles within deadlines
- Provide accurate and balanced reporting in line with editorial guidelines
- Collaborate with editors and respond to feedback promptly

Job Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or a related field
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a journalist
- Strong writing, reporting, and investigative skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of media ethics and journalistic standards
