Role Description of the Remote Mobile App Developer at CPayant
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile App Developer with a strong focus on React Native to join our fully remote team.
- This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing our core product, accelerating our growth, and directly contributing to our success.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, maintain, and enhance our flagship mobile application using React Native.
- Collaborate closely with our UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product team to translate design mockups and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Implement new features, optimize existing functionalities, and ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and help define best practices for mobile development.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Job Requirements :
- You have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mobile app development, with significant expertise in React Native.
- You possess a strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, cross-platform development, and API integration.
- You are passionate about building intuitive, high-performance mobile applications.
- You are a proactive problem-solver, a strong communicator, and thrive in a collaborative, remote environment.
- Experience with financial technology or neo-banking is a plus, but not required.
Terms of Engagement
We are currently in the final stages of our investment fundraising and are aggressively ramping up our revenue generation efforts.
We believe that bringing on a talented Mobile App Developer like you will significantly help us release improved versions of our app faster, directly contributing to increased client engagement and revenue.
- Initial Period (First 3 Months): This will be an unpaid period. We understand the need for sustainability during this time, and we are open to the candidate working on a part-time basis during these first three months.
- Post-Initial Period (From Month 4 Onwards): Upon successful completion of the initial three-month period, this will transition into a full-time role with a competitive monthly salary.
- Stock Options: We are pleased to offer employee stock options as part of your compensation package, providing you with a direct stake in CPayant’s success and growth.
- Location: This is a fully remote position.
