Responsibilities :

  • Elevate our white‑label health and medically inclined app ecosystem to a truly world‑class product.
  • Take ownership of design strategy, ensuring every screen and interaction is beautiful, functional, and engaging.
  • Provide daily direction to the internal design team.
  • Research leading apps to inspire and guide design improvements.
  • Build a robust Figma design system using variables and design tokens.
  • Coach the design team to deliver an A‑grade user experience across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
  • Design an app that users love and engage with frequently, leading to better health outcomes and strong business returns.
  • Understand the impact of design on retention, ROI, and customer loyalty.
  • Implement gamification strategies to increase customer engagement by 47% and loyalty by 22%.

Job Requirements :

  • Lead design strategy and direction – Audit our existing app, identify weaknesses, and propose improvements using inspiration from top‑performing health and consumer apps. Provide clear creative direction to the team via voice memos or screen recordings.
  • Refine a Figma design system using variables, tokens and components – Implement a structured design token hierarchy. Figma variables store reusable values for colours, spacing and typography and update all instances when changed. This centralisation improves flexibility, speed and consistency. You will ensure a semantic token structure is documented with naming conventions across design and development teams.
  • Design quality and innovation – Achieve a 90% approval rating from internal stakeholders on design iterations. Design must exhibit modern styles, effective glassmorphic techniques, accessibility, and adherence to the design system.
  • Daily feedback – Deliver daily feedback via screenshare prior to the team’s daily meeting time to improve efficiencies, ensure clear communication, and answer questions on live working calls.
  • User engagement and retention – Post‑launch analytics should show ≥ 20% increase in user retention and ≥ 15% increase in daily active usage compared with previous versions. Gamification features should contribute to higher session duration and progression completion rates.
  • Time efficiency – Reduce leadership’s design review time from ~3 hours/day to ≤ 1 hour/day by providing structured feedback and design systems that empower the design team.
  • Design system adoption – All new screens/components use the Figma variables and tokens system. Maintain 100% coverage of reusable components and tokens across the project.
  • Multi‑brand support readiness – Deliver a white‑label design system that can switch themes via variables, with at least two brand themes implemented and documented.
  • Documentation and handover – Create comprehensive documentation (style guide, components, token definitions) and deliver weekly voice memo/screenshare feedback to stakeholders. All team members should be able to understand and execute changes based on your guidance.
